Most dry cleaning plants have a full time person dedicated to spot removal and garment classification because traditional dry cleaning processes will damage and melt certain buttons, beads, decorative trims and also cause dyes to bleed, fade and transfer to other garments. This is the reason many cleaners charge more to customers for these garments because these decorative buttons and trims need to be removed before the cleaning process and then reapplied. The Wardrobe Spa model virtually eliminates that position because the Wardrobe Spa system will not damage decorative buttons and trims and is much safer on colors and dyes. Traditional dry cleaning machines are very expensive and take a great deal of maintenance to maintain clear and odor free cleaning solutions. These machines require a filtration and distillation process to keep the cleaning solution clean and odor free. They require a great deal of steam and electricity to do so thus larger more expensive boilers and higher utility cost compared to the Wardrobe Spa system. The solvent is very expensive and is used over and over again in the cleaning process so it is important to maintain the solvent properly. This is not necessary in the Wardrobe Spa process fresh clean water and chemistry are used in each and every load of textiles cleaned.
