The mission of the newly formed Franchisor Company is to offer unrivaled training and support to each franchisee as they join the Villa Nova family. Through rigorous qualification and selection, Villa Nova will only sell franchises to the highest quality individuals, personally and professionally.
Our Introduction
It was November 16th, 1955 when Alfonso Tornabene brought his authentic Sicilian-style pizza with freshly prepared toppings, and high-quality mozzarella cheese to Stickney, Illinois all the way from Canicatti, Sicily, Taking a half a century to perfect covering the delectable thin crust, putting only the freshest ingredients into the pizza right down to each carefully placed mound of sausage, he developed a taste that has been sought after.

Currently, Villa Nova operates a location in New Buffalo Michigan, providing the same famous gourmet pizza and sandwiches as the initial location. Since Sicily all those years ago, the Villa Nova Pizzeria Brand has been built into a solid business, with a proven model and steady practices. Villa Nova Pizzeria is now seeking qualified candidates for their franchise offering!
Villa Nova relies on an efficient operating system that provides great food in an inviting, friendly full-service pizzeria. Each restaurant is operated by a highly trained staff and serves food via dine-in or carryout (with available delivery). The customers range from college age, to young families, blue collar, and/or anyone out to have a quality pizza and sandwiches and a delightful experience. The current corporate operating unit will be the basis of our theme and uniformity as the brand expands via franchising.
The initial franchisees will be marketed and sold near the existing units and will be expanded from there, in concentric circles. Based on the existing unit demographics, locations should be opened in areas that have a mix of middle to upper demographics. The operation should generate revenue through foot traffic and reputation, which is greatly dependent on the location and the quality of service. The unique combination of flavors and choices combined with the extreme high-quality ingredients offers the customer an exceptional dining experience and market position for Villa Nova.
Locations should range from 1,200 to 3,500 square feet and will typically be in a strip center or stand-alone building in a downtown district or near a waterfront and (preferably) will be given attractive rental rates and T.I. dollars from the landlord. The storefront will need to be in areas with strong traffic, a high density of residential housing, and great visibility to drive the projected sales volumes and revenues per unit. Seasonal tourism will be a benefit, as well outside seating to accommodate for increase in seasonal traction.
Technology and systems (SpeedLine POS) have been put in place to manage the business (and online ordering) and to allow the Franchisor to oversee franchisee’s operations from a distance in reviewing financials and day-to-day numbers.
Villa Nova prepares its original thin-crust pizzas in a 12, 14, or 16-inch sizes. Customers can order from an amazing menu of traditional combinations or can create their own. Another pillar of the Villa Nova menu are the signature sandwiches, inspired by the nearby Chicago food scene, including the Italian Sausage and Italian Beef. Each menu item is made with high-quality ingredients, ready-made for dine-in, or made-to-order for pick-up,
delivery or catering. A craft beer list will be available in all franchised locations as well.
With ten years experience in the Southwest Michigan market, Villa Nova has continued the original Villa Nova menu that showcases classic flavors that any pizza or sandwich connoisseur can appreciate. Fresh, high-quality ingredients are at the heart of each dish, delivering enormous flavor with every bite.
