About Restoration Insurance Billing Source
R.I.B.S LLC's owner started out as an owner of a building inspection company and as an adjuster working with several local and national carriers. His specialty was large loss residential and commercial claims and managing projects for the carriers. What he started to see was the insurance companies starting to use tactics to bring down the restoration invoices of the contractors whether it was for mold/water/fire or reconstruct. He once argued the estimate was tight and was told that may be but see if the contractor will cut their invoice anyways. In 2008 while working for an international third party administration company handling claims we lost one of our large accounts. This lead to almost 30 of being left without a job within days afterwards. Some of them were asked to say at a huge discounted rate. At that time he formed General Building Consultants and started writing estimates for these same contractors and showing them how to capitalize on getting the carriers to pay based on our industry knowledge of how to write and how to present the estimate to the carrier. Recently we went through a change in policy and re-named the company Restoration Insurance Billing Source LLC.

Our associates are proficient in Xactimate as well as other industry programs and our team members are employed by RIBS LLC full-time and have extensive insurance experience either as restoration contractors, adjusters, or examiners.
