Founders Junio Filgueira and Lucilene Silverio brought that tradition to Danbury, Connecticut, opening the first Acaí Tribe in December 2025. Junio has owned and operated Danbury restaurants for more than 15 years; Lucilene trained as a pastry chef in Brazil. Together, they built a concept rooted in real ingredients, real culture, and real community.
