About Face Cabinetry will provide franchisees with approximately two weeks of initial training at the Franchisor’s location, beginning approximately four to six weeks before the franchisee is scheduled to open for business. Whoever will be operating as the salesperson and contacting the potential clients should be knowledgeable and exposed to the process. Instruction will pertain to administrative, operational, technical and sales/marketing matters; it will also include a liberal amount of on-the-job training. This training will be provided for the franchisee and one other person. The corporate training will be managed at the Franchisor’s prototype location.
Phase II -- Training provided at the franchisee's location:
On-site training typically takes place within two weeks after the franchisee commences operations of their About Face Cabinetry business. An experienced trainer from About Face Cabinetry will provide on-site training to assist the franchisee in the commencement of operations for approximately one week. The on-site training will primarily involve the Franchisor coming to the territory to market and meet with initial contacts for the franchisee’s benefit and provide the operations training. This work will be entirely field-based and will focus on getting the franchisee comfortable with operating the business.
