Before ab&flow became a studio, Founder Marie DiStasio spent years learning what makes Pilates instruction truly effective. As a BASI-certified instructor, she saw the difference between simply putting clients through a workout and teaching them how their bodies move.

When she opened our first Chicago studio in 2018, she built the experience around that distinction. Small classes. Individual attention. Traditional Pilates taught with an athletic edge. A welcoming atmosphere that takes the method seriously without taking itself too seriously.

That philosophy now guides three studios across Chicago and the Cleveland area, with the teaching standards and operating practices to introduce ab&flow to new communities.

What began with one instructor’s vision is now a studio concept you can bring to your own market.
